Travelling with Cheap Flights to Thailand!
Early booking for hotels, reservations for city tour packages and looking for cheap flights to Thailand are one of the many preparations me and my sister did for our week-long vacation. Great shopping malls, exquisite Thai food (we really love the spicy herbs and spice especially that of Thai cooking) and the colorful temples and mansions coated with shades of green, red and blue which represents the abundance of the finest gems, are all part the vibrant culture that we both wanted to witness.
For us, spending our holiday off to Thailand is very short lived, yet, the process of planning took a longer time to take shape. So, what preparations did we do? Okay, let me share you some tips how to pull off an all out trip while spending less nonetheless living an expensive lifestyle.
Ok, three months ahead of time, the first thing we did is to start by looking for cheap flights to Thailand. We very much utilize our resources that time, browsing the web, calling from one airline company to another and even phone-hopping from countless travel agencies. However, its not only flight schedules and prices that we look into as well our hotel and tours. You know, it's like hitting three birds with one stone then. By the end of the month, we had our hotel booked, a very cheap RT fare (luckily, we stumbled on a promo flight) for the month of June and had ourselves a city tour with 2 nights 3 days package in one of the best beaches in the out coasts of Thailand.
During the months from March to October, when the atmosphere is warm and the skies are blue, it is indeed difficult to book cheap flights to Thailand. It is on these times that the country is at its peak. Prices of accommodations and hotels are doubled or tripled due to the overwhelming tourists that visit the country. Hot spots from the outside areas of Bangkok are also full with people wanting to go to the beach.
Next, budget is very important so as to avoid bankruptcy, especially with your cards. After making some calculations, we have only spent almost $400 for our entire trip including the fare, accommodations and tour (1 baht = 0.032584 U.S. dollars). Not bad after all! After a week of being transported from a different culture and being a part of a different world, surely, the wonderful experience in Thailand will always be remembered.
